How much should you spend before you list your home for sale?
I'm asked this question often. The answer depends on your specific situation, an experienced listing agent would assess your situation and provide you with options so you can make an informed decision. Below are some high level general things to consider.
I suggest to my sellers to put yourselves in the shoes of a buyer. When a buyer is walking through a home, they are evaluating how much money they will have to spend to make the home comfortable for their family. This evaluation process starts process starts with front yard landscaping, exterior of the home, interior of the home and the backyard. The less money a typical buyer needs to spend to make the home comfortable for their family, the more the buyer is willing to stretch on price.
